Did you know that breast cancer is the most common cause of cancer in women with one woman being diagnosed every 10 minutes and that despite improving awareness and treatments the numbers affected by this disease are on the rise?
As Trustees we think that Primrose is a bold, ambitious and creative charity. Over the last 26 years we have raised and donated over £1.7 million to support breast care services to the population we serve.
We are now looking to recruit additional Trustees who share our belief in the possible and can provide stewardship, governance, and inspiration to a talented team.
We are looking for people who can demonstrate a strong track record in enabling growth and effecting positive change in their own field. You need to be a strong strategic thinker, whilst demonstrating and contributing expertise as well as openness to new ideas.
Your style and approach will be inclusive and collaborative with the personal impact and communication skills to influence and build relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
A background in a commercial or professional field in one of the following areas would be advantageous. Previous experience as a Trustee would also be welcome.
