Do Your Bit & Donate a Chemo Care Kit This Christmas

This Christmas why not do something extra special and donate a Chemo Care Kit. The Primrose Foundation would love your help to provide all patients who are receiving oncology treatment for breast cancer during the Christmas period with their very own Chemo Care Kit.

Breast Cancer can affect anyone and often comes with detrimental effects on body image and self-esteem due to side effects such as hair loss, itchy and sensitive skin as well as brittle and broken nails to name but a few of the side effects of chemotherapy.

Because of this, we would like to offer this group of patients our extended care and support and we need your help.

Each Christmas Chemo Care Kit should consist of the following content however if you would like to throw in a few little extras that would be wonderful but not essential.

Care kit content:

• A small notebook & pens

• Nail varnish (dark colour)

• Eyebrow stencil

• Itchy skin spray

• Unscented hand cream

• Handheld fan

• Lip balm

• Headwrap

Each care kit needs to be placed in a gift-wrapped shoe box which can be accessible. If you can help, please drop your care kits off at the reception desk at The Primrose Centre by Friday 8th December.

If your workplace would like to get involved and donate 10 or more boxes a member of our fundraising team will happily arrange a collection. Please contact us on info@primrosefoundation.org for more information.
