Have you, or someone you know, been affected by breast cancer? Have these experiences given you a passion for wanting to make a difference in your local breast care services, if so then we may have a wonderful opportunity for you.

Having existed for over 28 years we are a bold, ambitious, and creative charity. We have grown in strength over the years and require additional support to help us achieve our goals. From the start, we have helped to develop the Primrose Breast care centre at Derriford Hospital, to be a centre of excellence. We have funded equipment, staff & other essential resources that make a patient’s time more comforting at a challenging time. We listen to those who use the service which allows us to make those important improvements requested by patients and their families – all of which you could be part of.

We are now looking to recruit volunteers to work with our Fundraiser/Coordinator, who share our passion for making a difference. This will be an exceptionally rewarding & beneficial opportunity which will provide you with the opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience, enhance your CV, improve employability as well as meet new people and form new friendships.

All we ask is that you are aged 18+, compassionate, polite, friendly and have a passion to help those going through the Breast care pathway.

You will work alongside and be fully supported by our fundraising coordinator, tasks will include: helping with all aspects of events and promotion of the charity, setting up and helping to run a welcoming support group for patients & their families.
