With events being cancelled and our ways of raising money being limited it is more important than ever that we receive your support to continue our great work.

The Primrose Foundation are continuing our support of the breast care service by funding three essential post for The Primrose breast care centre for a fixed period of two years, they are as follows:

A part-time Reconstructive support Nurse: This post holder will look after patients who require immediate and delayed reconstructive surgery. This is an essential role for patients having breast reconstruction- this post will help & assist in moving the care & support forward for those that require complex treatment too.

A part-time experienced Oncology Support nurse: This post holder will support the existing Oncology Nurse specialist team by providing essential nurse specialist support to patients receiving Oncology treatment for primary and secondary breast cancer.

A part-time Clinical Psychologist: This post holder will support Primrose patients in the various breast pathways- providing extra support, advice or assessment according to the patients needs. This may include patients contemplating risk reduction surgery and reconstruction, those struggling with the impact of cancer, those experiencing difficulty in deciding which treatment course or intervention would be best for them or other issues impacting a patients mental health relating to the work of the Primrose breast care centre.
